Our Fleet
A considered collection — each vehicle chosen for how it feels as much as how it moves
Mercedes V-Class
The V-Class is where most journeys with La Saggezza begin. It's built for groups who want to travel together without compromise: generous legroom, individual seats, climate control, and room for luggage, so arrival in Umbria feels like the start of the holiday rather than the end of a long day.
With a professional driver at the wheel, you don't need to navigate hill-town roads, find parking inside medieval walls, or decide who skips the wine at lunch. You simply step in, settle back, and watch the countryside pass by.
· 7-8 passengers with professional chauffeur
· Space for large suitcases
· Air conditioning, phone charging, bottled water
Ideal for: Airport and train station transfers (Rome, Florence, Perugia, Terni), full-day touring, wine tastings, weddings and guest shuttles, and families or friends traveling together.
Not available for in-house hire. Available only for transfer and touring with professional driver.
Fiat 500e Cabrio “La Prima”
Few things feel more Italian than rolling back the roof of a Fiat 500 on a sunny afternoon. The 500e keeps all the charm of the original but adds a quiet, fully electric drive, so you can wind through olive groves and vineyards with nothing but birdsong and the breeze.
Its compact size is a real advantage here. It slips easily through narrow village streets and fits into the small parking spots found throughout Umbria's hill towns. It's an easy way to set your own pace, stopping wherever a view, a café, or a market catches your eye.
· Seats 2 adults comfortably, up to 4
· Fully electric
· Fabric soft-top roof
Ideal for: Couples, independent day trips, scenic drives, and anyone who wants freedom without the stress of a large car on small roads.
Piaggio Ape
The little three-wheeled Ape has been part of Italian rural life for more than 70 years, carrying farmers, vendors, and their wares through country lanes. Today it's one of the most charming and photographed ways to see the countryside.
A ride in the Ape is less about getting somewhere and more about the experience itself. It moves at an unhurried pace and draws smiles from everyone you pass. It's a memorable, lighthearted way to spend an afternoon, and it makes a wonderful photo moment for special occasions.
· Seats 2 passengers
· Open sides for full view of the Italian landscape
Ideal for: Short countryside tours, wedding photos and couple's arrivals, aperitivo outings, and guests who want something truly unique.
Vespa Primavera 124cc
The Vespa has been a symbol of Italian style and freedom since 1946, and the Primavera carries that legacy forward. Light, nimble, and easy to handle, it's made for curving roads, short hops between villages, and the simple pleasure of feeling the landscape around you rather than through a window.
It's the classic way to experience Umbria the way locals have for generations: a coffee in one town, lunch in another, and a long sunset ride home.
· Seats rider plus 1 passenger
· 124cc engine, automatic (no gears to manage)
· Helmets included
· 2 Vespas available
Ideal for: Confident riders, couples, half-day and full-day explorations, and travelers who want a quintessentially Italian experience.
E-Bikes
Umbria is beautiful but famously hilly. Pedal-assist e-bikes take the strain out of the climbs, so you can enjoy quiet country roads, cypress-lined lanes, and medieval villages without needing to be a serious cyclist.
You set the level of assistance, so it can be a gentle ride or a more active day out. E-bikes are a quiet, low-impact way to travel slowly, notice the details, and earn that long lunch.
· Pedal-assist with adjustable support levels
· Helmets included
· 4 e-bikes available
Ideal for: Active travelers, wellness-minded guests, and anyone who wants to explore at a slower, more connected pace.
